Account Executive - Manufacturing Vertical

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team, focusing on the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managed services and software solutions sales within the manufacturing industry. This role involves driving new business opportunities, expanding our client base, and helping manufacturing companies enhance operations through digital transformation, automation, and data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities


    • Manage the full sales process using a consultative selling approach to achieve sales quotas.
    • Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation.
    • Conduct targeted demonstrations and presentations to educate prospects on our solutions.
    • Collaborate with pre-sales and product operations teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
    • Lead contract and pricing negotiations to close deals, ensuring a seamless transition for new clients.
    • Provide regular updates, projections, and forecasts of sales activities using company reporting tools.
    • Establish and maintain executive-level relationships, tailoring solutions to meet the specific client needs.
    • Attend industry-related events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our services.
    • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of our products and services as they relate to the manufacturing sector.
    • Travel up to 20% as required.

Qualifications


    • 5+ years of experience in managed services/outsourcing or software sales with a proven track record of quota achievement.
    • Experience selling solutions to manufacturing companies is required.
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, operational challenges, and digital transformation initiatives.
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analyze the needs of manufacturing prospects.
    • Excellent business acumen, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
